A tedious 8 hour transit in Buenos Aires. Probably one of the most boring and poxy airports in the western world. At least at a third world airport there is a chance of being mugged.
We fitted four climbers, one driver and 250kg of bags in one small corolla taxi.

Extraordinary slums built on piles of volcanic rubble on the outskirts of Lima. The whole place was incredibly dusty.

We traveled by bus from Lima to Huaraz. Half the journey was along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean on a road seemingly dug into the side of a giant sand dune.
I'm not sure how the road actually stayed where it was with all the sand.
